Luke Mackinnon wins first National competition medal!

Luke pulled off a solid performance in the final round of competition to jump from 5th to 3rd capturing his first ever National competition medal.  Luke also retained his 2nd place rank on the Canadian National Age Group Team.  Luke’s next competition will be the World Age Group Championships in Quebec City this fall. 

Way to Go Luke.

 

Ryan Stephenson managed a strong performance to place 5th overall in the Senior Men’s Tumbling division.  Ryan is ranked 5th in Canada and will be heading to the World Championships this fall as the team-alternate.  In the mean time he will be participating in a match-competition between Canada and Great Britain as well as World Cups in Poland and Russia.  Good luck to Ryan over the next couple months.

Also competing from Oakville this past weekend were Lauren Rotolo and Kelsey Brasil who placed 11th and 18th respectively in the Novice 10-14 Women’s tumbling division and Jonathan Meehan placed 5th in the Novice 101-4 Men’s tumbling division.
